Yeah, and I guess they can’t really complain, as we don’t get many fan “abyssinian oc” characters, and such, (so it’s not like “omg furries are taking over!”) and I recall, that busty, diamond dog OC was quite popular for a li’l while.
They can also add “abyssinian oc” to their site filters, as well.

That is also true. We’ll have to wait and see where hasbro takes the series in gen 5. There are yaks and what sparked this, cats.
Who knows, there could be dogs in there somewhere. Maybe the dogs and cats can have a grudge against each other in sport like Australia has with England in cricket (in the Ranchtown series, Abyssinia is like the pony universe’s Australia)
There are probably anthropomorphic animals of several other species besides just cats, dogs, and birds, but the series simply hasn’t gone far enough away from Equestria to warrant more furries outside The Movie. X3

Oooook, times to put some facts here.
As her owner, I can say yes, she is an Abyssinian. There is also people who can back me up on this information.
She lives in Ranchtown, a town in story series called “Ranchtown”, written by Calico64. Technically, she is a furry, as she walks on two paws, is furry and that. But she was never made for the furry fandom.
Annnnnd no. Not unless you’re canine oc is a diamond dog, it’d be pretty hard to post them here without major hassles. Last I watched MLP, there wasn’t any sentient canine species apart from them ;P
