When Capper was first released, some fans were very upset over his voice actor’s background. That resulted in the BARBED jokes (that became very annoying) and some racist banter likening our smooth-talking feline to a lowly criminal who seeks to aggressively ravage Rarity.
What do you think of all this trash talk about that poor cat, nearly two years later? I personally think it is mostly ridiculous.

Pretty much, except for leftypol anyway, last time I checked. And leftypol ranges from half the board being reasonable moderates to the other half being varying degrees of communists and anarchists who can’t agree on anything. So 4chan is pretty much completely dead except for peeking in once or twice a year to have a laugh and shake your head in disgust.
And one of my friends wonders why I avoid 4Chan like the plague.
Me too, because they make Capper look like a fool to laugh at.

It actually kind of did leak over here based on some of the comments I’ve seen in older pictures of him. Lots of people were pissed about “furries taking over MLP” as well as some shippers (mostly ones that ship Rarity with Spike) getting severely defensive and angry over his existence.

I was interested in that drama because it made Capper look like a fool.
