Well… just try to keep check on how you act around others. Because we can’t and don’t always see the annoying things that we do around others.

Well, I don’t mean to sound rude in any way, but I have to heavily disagree.
 
I wouldn’t have minded Mudbriar if he wasn’t just an obnoxious male version of Maud.
 
Maybe he could’ve been not so much manically depressed, but maybe seem to be a little bipolar with his moods, with him being real mellow and down to earth one point, then really hyper the next.

Oh yeah, I really didn’t like Mudbriar’s character, as I thought he was very obnoxious and condescending, but he and Maud did make a cute couple, which is why Maudbriar is a guilty pleasure pairing for me.
 
And I totally agree, how people act like their ship is a fact, and that if we don’t see it, it means we’re delusional and biased. Seriously, whose viewpoint should we take more into consideration? The people who trash talk others and attack them with insults and try and force them to do what they want, or our own perfectly sane and unbiased views? Hmmm…I’ll have to think about that.

I just hate when anyone tries to act like their pairing (whatever it is) is the be all end all of everything.
 
And the only thing I have an problem with Mudbriar is the fact that he was pretty much just a male version of Maud, but liked sticks instead of rocks. It would’ve just been a lot better if he was an eccentric geologist who loved the study of rocks as much as Maud, but had an over the top personality or something, but Maud just liked being around him and having him around her.
 
I was even thinking about having a Maud pairing in a story I’ve been trying to work on over the years.

Me too. Even if Fluttercord did magically happen and become canon, that wouldn’t change anything. I mean, Flashlight is canon, but I still ship Twiflam. Sugarmac is canon, and people still ship Marblemac and Fluttermac. Maudbriar is canon, and plenty of people hate it (even though I think it’s an OK ship). The two things I hate about how a lot of Fluttercord shippers behave, is 1. How they try and force us to believe it’s canon when it isn’t, and 2. How they claim that just because something is canon, that automatically means we have to ship it.

Ironic. Because the same could easily be said for Fluttercord.
 
And it’s funny how you haven’t actually put down any evidence to support that.
 
I mean, the show’s obviously not focused the romance of the characters. So it’s not exactly going to have 50 different pairings be shown at the forefront at the end of the series.
