I wanna know why people want the 9 year olds to be romantically involved, like I can somewhat understand if they were teens cause people eat that kinda drama and romance up but even then I feel like im the only person in this fandom whos perfectly fine with Spike and the CMCs not having a romantic pairing, fandoms are too into ships these days

There’s some people that get this weird idea that shipping is solely sexual. I have run into that type harassing someone on a message board before for bringing up two kid characters before as their ship.

Frankly people shouldn’t be shipping either of these two with anyone or any of the kids for that matter

Spike had more chemistry in one episode with Gabby then he did with the combined worth of both Rarity and Sweetiebelle of over 9 seasons.

I dunno about everyone else, but the way it seems to me is that Rarity sees Spike more as a little kid with a crush than someone who could be a valid romantic option. (Whether she’s right or wrong in this assessment is something I prefer to leave as an open-ended question.)

Yeah, popular ships usually start with hints that are literally no big deal, but honestly Spikebelle has become so popular because imagined as a “consolation for Spike after Rarity rejected him” (seriously, something like 99% of Spikebelle comics/fanfictions start with this premise).  
In all honesty, even Apple Bloom has talked and interacted with Spike more times than Sweetie Belle.  
On a different note, I see that a lot of fans imagined Rarity rejecting Spike a la “Wendy rejected Dipper”, but I, for one, think that if that’s what they wanted to do with this ship, they’d do that way long time ago.

Personally I ship spikebelle not because I see her as a mini Rarity, I ship it because I find better Spike being shiped with filly with the same height, and because I find SB the cutest of the fillies.
 

 
Her and Rarity clearly are totally different characters only vinculed by blood and the coat color, nothing more. The series has pointed this several times.
 
If you find that a petty reason to ship something, several other popular ships (canon and fanon) starts for less then that. The few contact that they has shown is more than other canon ships has previously stated before starting being consolidated (sugarmac, timbertwi..), so is still has the potential to develop in canon.
 
Also, not every dream and crushes has to become reality, the show of friendship could use Spike’s infatuation to give the lessson that a crush could perfectly stay as a friendship if the interest is not mutual.
 
In the reality almost every relationship is a silver medal in some degree, and that don’t impide them to be fulfilment.
 
In conclusion, this could be shipped not necessarily as a derivative, and isn’t impossible nor rightly negative.

Okay but is anybody going to talk about Sweetie Belle’s horn placement?

I did realize that immediately. And I TOTALLY agree with you.  
A Spikebelle ending would actually be pretty insulting AND disrespectful for both Spike and Sweetie Belle, indeed.  
It would be insulting for Spike because after 9 seasons of crush on Rarity (ship it or not, it’s an objective fact that there have been moments and hints of THEM TWO througt the whole series), you can’t just make him ending up with THE YOUNGER SISTER of her, having no other reason - but seriously, NO-OTHER-REASON for it to happen, other than the fact ITSELF that she’s Rarity’s little sister.  
It would have been somehow acceptable if they developed the ship throught the series such as a “love triangle” between Spike, Rarity and Sweetie Belle, but Spike and Sweetie Belle have interacted something like FOUR-FIVE TIMES through THE WHOLE SERIES!  
And aside of two “1-second-both” scenes in which they were just friendly dancing aside, there have been NOTHING between them.  
It would be TOTALLY unfair.  
“Yo, Spike, you can’t have the girl of your dreams. Yeah, the girl you’ve been dreaming for since the very first episode. You can’t have her.  
Meanwhile, all the other characters will have their own happy ending and will achieve their dreams, but you won’t, lol. Have her younger sister, instead, lol!”  
And it would be insulting for Sweetie Belle as well, because, as this picture say, what is she, a silver medal? A consolation prize?  
Spikebelle is wrong because is a shipping that derived completely from an other shipping, Sparity. It exists only because of Sparity.  
Sweetie Belle is shipped with Spike only because she’s Rarity’s younger sister, and NOTHING ELSE.
