“I remember and know that in the 90’s children were very much afraid of this mask on the screensaver.
Even had nightmares. Some children of the 90’s thought it was a mask of Boris Yeltsin and some thought it was a old lady with a stocking on his head.”
(The horrors of our childhood )
However growing up I learned that this face is actually a picture of the ancient Chinese Taoist philosopher Guo Xiang
If in the 90s there was such “TV show opening logo” Poor children dashing 90s…
[ENG] Very unexpected seeing this here, on Derpibooru. Common language of uploader is Russian, probably translates text for description with Google Translate, and instead “screensaver” meaning “TV show opening logo”, ‘cause in russian language “заставка” word means both computer’s screensaver and any kind of fullscreen TV logos.
i think just mgm (Metro Goldwyn Mayer) and random logo classic from 1920s to 1950s still scary too XD
Imagine how you would act and react if you were a child and saw that scary face?
i think old logo not bad XD
