I’m not denying that they’ve been worfed a few times (mostly for the sake of having Twilight and her friends save the day) but they’re not useless.
And you’re the princess of shut up.
It does remind me of the Disney Renaisance movies. Can be dark at times, but mostly colorful. It doesn’t just go with blues and grays.
I think it’s a new cult classic for western animation.
If this movie was released in the 80s, it already would be.
It certainly looks and feels like an 80s kids movie in many ways.
Very dark and weird, yet very cute and uplifting sometimes too.
The actual 80s *G1 MLP movie was good too (though I’m biased)
but I must admit nowhere near as much as this.

lol Thanks! I’d been meaning to for awhile since the movie got the ‘all clear’ on non-trailer/making-of clips.
I might do a few more sometime later, but that’s it for today.
There are also some other sound webms of the movie posted before me, too.
but not as many compared to the show itself.

Not useless, they just usually fill the tradtional ‘princess needing rescue’ role,
while Twilight steps out of that to do the rescuing.
