I’m going to give the artist the benefit of the doubt and assume that this image is primarily showing support for same-sex marriage rights. Of all the mane six, I think Pinkie and Rainbow would give least amount of fucks about things like economic ideologies. And rightfully so, as there’s scarcely any actual difference between America’s two parties when it comes to spending money. Though they sure do spend many millions of your dollars trying to make you all think otherwise every 4 years.

But lets be honest here: this artist has a political agenda, yes. However, does that make him ‘worse’ then the artists who do lolicon art, or futa art, or scat ?
 
I’m just saying. Artists should be free to draw what they want (at least most of the time) And this is a harmless picture that promotes a political preference, even if its slightly propaganda. And it sure is far less tame then most other downvoted art I’ve seen.

Mayor Mare is an appointed governor who acts in Celestia’s interest. Twilight was sent to Ponyville as it has displayed the highest levels of stability and loyalty in the realm - thanks in no small part to Mayor Mare’s effective, if brutal, employment policies and repression of dissenters. Why else are so many ponies lacking parents?

I’m a republican and I sure as hell didn’t like Romney. I’m seriously tired of everyone associating republicans with all of these idiots who currently control the party almost as much as the people who assume that since I’m a republican, I’m automatically racist and hate poor people.

As someone who voted for Obama twice (and despises what the GOP has become), I downvoted this. Because I believe that PONIES AND POLITICS MUST BE KEPT SEPARATE AT ALL TIMES.

In regards to the below comments, I think the whole “Donkey-party good! Elephant-party evil!” mentality is getting kinda old. It’s like people worship their political parties to much.
 
I even lost a bit of respect for Tara Strong when she said on her Twitter, “The election results show if money is your god, then you’re not going to win.” (Y’know, ‘cause all Republicans care about is money, and apparently Democrat politicians who also have huge paychecks don’t.)  
Which I find ironic, ‘cause Obama sure likes to take money, spend it even worse then Bush did, (and that’s saying something) give it to the people who funded his campaign, and such. (Obama spent more money on his campaign then any president in history supposedly.)  
If you ask me, he sure loves money himself, thinks throwing money at all of America’s problems will make them go away.
 
I’m not saying Obama is “evil,” I’m just saying he’s not perfect, and people shouldn’t blindly support everything he does, just because they’re the same party as him.
 
And honestly, I don’t think the country would be any better, or worse off if Romney got elected instead.

They’ve already waited too long. They’re only in the first stage of a budget. It’s like whenever a student has a essay to do for school and waits till the last night to do it and only gets it halfway done and the teacher rips it up for not reaching the minimum word requirement.
