My latest animation experiment. There is lots of room for improvement, but I’m happy with the result as a learning project.
Also, I know it’s usually spelled “Lorelei”, but this is how they spelled it in the song title.

They’re sirens, with some facts simlier to mermaids, they use their singing and beauty to lure sailors to their deaths.

Pretty much. A lot of ancient mythological beings were very similar to each other. I did some more reading and Undine’s apparently don’t steal souls (I apologize for the misinformation) but marry the man in order to gain a soul. That’s certainly different from a siren, who would… you know eat or kill the person.
