This happened at last once with the GameCube. The version of BMX XXX on PS2 was censored but Nintendo did not do these edits to the game.
Well of course - the other systems all want to enforce censorship, but Nintendo is the only one to give its users the chance to engage in a full and free…

Interesting. I missed this controversy.
Nevertheless I still feel like I stand by my adding of the “op is wrong” tag because the image implies Steam as an entity did this, when actually the removal of these games is literally described as an act from “a few rogue employees”, who will probably be fired, if they haven’t already been. Officially, it doesn’t look like Valve stands by this decision. I guess the joke is only half wrong in that case.

Have you been living under a rock? Steam has already said they’re not censoring games, instead they’re letting players filter their own game selections. But to sweeten the deal, they’re already selling adult games.
