Wouldn’t it be interesting if one of the ponies who died in that explosion had a “Sweetie Belle” of their own and then years later Sweetie Belle dies to the hooves of this pony (which follows the same route)?
@maud pie of the Well
Like I said, there’s a possibility that she has learned from the previous leaders mistakes, and decided to run things more efficiently or make sure things are done differently…
Granted, unless this comic gets a sequel we only have speculations to go by.
Who knows but considering how very… Light Yagami-ish she was being (Getting with these ponies, getting rid of them, having an assassin murder her “spouse”), I doubt it.
Basically, although what’s sad is Sweetie Belle let herself fall in the dark path that lead to Rarity’s death. The trauma was there, but the fact she sacrificed everything to do this calculated plan into killing those who murdered her sister…only to become what she planned to kill is sheer irony.
@lance blazer
Fan fic this! It’s literally like Oldboy now.
I think she meets a old friend from ponyville then feel karma

True, but in the end, she became the same Scumbag who killed her sister. Only now she’s become the same thing that ended Rarity
To be fair, most of them were either scumbags who deserved it or had a hand in murdering her sister.

Indeed, a classic “he who fights monsters” scenario.
That being said, who knows? Maybe she’ll try to take things in a different direction… or at the very least handle things differently than they did.

Kinda reminds me of Oldboy.
Let’s be honest, anything good and humble within her died on the same night as her sister.
How the humble fall.
