Why the HELL is this comic propagating the idea that ponies are “selfish and cruel” by rule? Ponies are benign by first nature, the reason why we have more focus on the bad ponies is because, otherwise, the show would be fucking boring, just look at Winter Wrap up or Fall Weather Friends, where the ponies are WORKING TOGETHER to make their world work, their world literally runs on teamwork.  
Also, how the hell is this “new age of everybody being hunky dory” (Which is impossible to make every single living thinking individual be a good person safe of mind control or brainwashing) going to be brought by two Millenia old, greatly experienced Demigoddesses stepping down and putting a unexperienced, mostly antisocial dork on the throne? What makes Twilight so damn special?

First: I liked the fact that there are BG ponies standing alongside the mane cast. Maybe the artist only included them because he liked them, but for me they helped drive the point home that a lot we wanted to happen already happened at the time of this comic.
 
I dislike “stuff is flawed, let’s wipe the slate clean” stuff though; that assumes that things start from perfection and get corrupted over time, when in the contrary, things start from unjust, chaotic states and slowly build up to become better through great gradual effort.

I’ve actually thought of that before, that the “End of the world” isn’t the destruction of the planet or the extinction of life, but an end to the way we perceive things, of how the world is viewed as a whole, opening up a whole new batch of possibility’s to live and learn.
