Today it turned out that the batpony costume in “Legends of Equestria” is, unlike last year, not obtainable for foal players anymore.
With that, it joins the other event items in the game, like the Winter Warm Up vest, that have already been unobtainable for foal players before.
A player of the game, Starry Heart, has opened a poll so that LoE players can vote on it if they want to have the batpony costume and the Winter Warm Up vest to be obtainable for foals or not.
If you play LoE and have foal characters or would like to play as a foal eventually and if you wish for equal treatment of foals and adult ponies in the game, you can vote with “Yes” here to encourage the dev team to make event items accessible for foal players:

This comment is even more funny if looked at it that the quest in which you get this vest on the right, is all about Winter Wrap-Up (called “Winter Warm-Up” in the game), so with foal characters not being able to do this quest, they are denied to help with work.
