Rarity has never shown any romantic interest in Spike and has kissed him on the cheek several times since season 2 shes never seemed interested in moving on with their relationship.
 
AJ and Rarity share a lot of moments that are similar to Lyrabon (which is canon) Rarity has held AJ and looked lovingly in eachother eyes, and they have a lot more in common. Spikes crush on Rarity is only physical what do Rarity and Spike have in common? We know Rarity and Applejack spend one day a week with eachother at the spa so they spend a lot of time with eachother and enjoy each others company.
 
Im sorry but there’s a lot more evidence for Rarijack then Spirarity.

I was honestly expecting there to be more shipping fuel for this episode.  
Rarity and Applejack, Fluttershy and Rainbow. Then the complimentary Pinkie and Twilight to complete the circle. Y’know.  
It’s like they knew.

Eh, so it sounds like they went with the same, predictable pairings that they keep going back to yet again (except with Spike in there this time).
 
And each Mane 6 pairing essentially got each other? So much for playing with the group dynamic.
