It’s a “BlazBlue” reference.
I don’t know if you ever played it (it’s a fighting game).
There’s basically this one girl (Saya), which is sister in law of the main character (Ragna), calm in appearance but inside, she’s a murderous creepy bitch.
Well of course, she’s a Goddess of death after all (named Izanami)…
You see, Cadance creepy smile, reminded me of Saya, that’s all.
Look it up if you are brave enough…
