That makes no sense to me. A small facial structure matters that much? Despite that a lot of them tend to have human body structure and anatomy, and even human facial structure with a pony nose drawn in. It’s about just as human as what you described on average. Plus this has been discussed in the past and IIRC pictures like the OP can get the “anthro” tag from what the staff has said.

In reality, the term anthro is the short form of anthropomorphic which means having human features. None of these ridiculous furry headcanon crap.

The facial structure of a character is pretty much the primary determining factor for whether something is anthro or not. They can have ears and tails and wings all day long (and possibly even some fur, as long as it is roughly equal to or less than the fur content of Super Saiyan 4 Goku), but if their facial structure is humanoid like ours, then it isn’t anthro, it’s kemonomimi or monster girl (depending on their non-human traits). Only once you have a muzzle/snout does it truly fall into anthro territory. That’s why if you aren’t sure if something is anthro, just look to the nose and face. That’ll tell you all you REALLY need to know.
 
In short:  
~ No muzzle - Then human, kemonomimi, or monster girl.  
~ Yes muzzle - Then it’s anthro, and that is when you abandon ship. :3

I really don’t get how a small cosmetic change all of a sudden makes a world of difference. Having a different nose does not subtract that you could also label it as human with pony nose and whatever other limb.
