I´m happy she was able to overcome her devastating setback and is now the captain of her own amazing team.  
Now I just wished that she would reconcile with Dashie so that are on good terms and can start a friendly rivalry.

Yeah I think we can all agree everyone in the show makes their fair share of mistakes. Besides Lightning’s made hers into something good by creating Equestria’s “only stunt troupe” which gives them a literally unique appeal.

Also Tanks for the Memories.
“Tanks for the Memories” took place a full season before “Newbie Dash”, the episode where Rainbow Dash learned the dangers of her grandstanding ways and resolved not to do so again.

Non-Compete Clause.
Didn’t involve the Wonderbolts or reckless flying habits. The fact that she let her pre-existing, historically established competitiveness with Applejack cause problems is regrettable, but an entirely different issue altogether.

The Wonderbolts are overrated anyway.
They seemed good enough for Lightning back when she was actively trying to get in.
 
Besides, I prefer a show where there’s a low risk someone will accidentally off themselves via gratuitous grandstanding, or worse yet, maim an audience member or two trying to perform some reckless stunt.
