Day 29 refers to this being the 29th day of the Equestria Daily New Artist Training Ground. As others pointed out the original is from January.
According to this URL, the first image was uploaded on January 19, 2018.
Yeah, I’ve thought the same thing a few times recently. The way that the eyes are drawn can hint at which artist drew an image, but they often look extremely similar.
Round eyes give away that TJ drew it.
7 months evidently.
I’ll be honest.
Before I first commented, I thought this was a TJ pic. Then I checked the tags. Is artiks, dare I say TJPones lost twin?
