From all the Rule 63 art I’ve seen of MLP: FiM…I have barely seen many genderbent Sparity pics surprisingly (The most I’ve seen are Elusive x Rarity and Spike x Barb…both of which I’m not a fan of XP). Come on you guys, I think a genderbent version of Sparity would be really adorable The loyal tomboyish assistant falling for the generous-hearted gentleman….wouldn’t that make for sweet fanfiction potential or what?
 
So yeah, this scene is supposed to be based off of the very first episode of MLP, where Twilight Sparkle and Spike meet Rarity in Carousel Boutique for the first time. Spike (or in this case, Barb) almost immediately falls head over heels for Rarity (or in this case, Elusive) upon first sight. The rest from there on is history~
 
(Also as a little side-note, in this humanized headcanon of mine, there’s only a six year age difference between Spike/Barb and Rarity/Elusive. Just to let y’all know )
