Consider this…Lightning Dust only appeared in one episode before this one. She wasn’t given much emotion or personality and she was slightly villainized, but at the very most, one could argue whether her attitude was harmful….or harmless. There wasn’t much too her originally, she was literally a stock jock trope with no meaningful interactions to others.
 
You imprinted on that almost character-less character, and became obsessed with her.
