I think the owner just put the baby on the tree just to mess with them. See what the mother’s reaction and the baby’s reaction would be, considering there’s no “abuse” tag and no fluffy pony “grimdark” tag, so I really don’t know what the fuss is all about, since it’s not really abuse if it’s just teasing. It only become horrifying though, if the the baby who rammed himself against the tree suffered a hemorrhage from the impact of his skull hitting the tree, causing blunt trauma and severe brain damage, while the baby clinging to her life falls to her death after slipping and then falling to the cold hard ground, shattering every bone in her body.

It depends as always on who’s drawing it. If skoon draws a follow-up it’ll just be the baby falling on to her mother and breaking every bone in her body, then severing her mother’s spine and causing her to topple onto her other child and crush it.

Would the mother fluffy be soft enough for the baby to land on? Not that either one of the fluffies has enough coordination for it, but go with a lucky jump.
