Granted there more to raridash then just that too (I’m not writting a novel in the comments section like before), and I can get if its simply not someone’s cup of tea.
 
That said, some ships that aren’t exactly popular are simply underrated.

Even if they hadn’t had ANY interaction in the show period. There’s still a whole group of fanfics that demonstrate how it can work.
 
“A Lady does everything with Feeling”  
“The Time We have Now”  
“third Times a Charm”  
“You can always count on me”  
etc.

^ This is not the only ship that people downvote out of hand, nor is it even the worse. Plus, the votes don’t mean anything anyway.

Because people are close minded assholes, period.
 
There is absolutely no valid reason to shift that kind of hate toward this ship in particular.
 
Sonic Rainboom prove rarity understands Dash on a level that others don’t, both being ponies with huge dreams, a lot of pride, and self esteem obstacles as a result.
 
They are competitive, in their own ways; they have goals, and won’t stop until they achieve them! Their goals also could intertwine, as Rarity could design some kind of outfit for Dash’s performances, which would in turn, advertise for Rarity and get her more business
 
They don’t hate each other…in fact they seem to get along just fine, if the their friendly behaviour toward one another in the second season finale was anything to go by. That issue dash had with Rarity’s trade being “boring” doesn’t seem to be an issue anymore, given rare’s helped her look good although the second season (find a pet and the finale). Dash saved her friggin’ life twice, and achieved her greatest feat in the series doing so the first time around. It’s not as if they don’t care for one another.
 
Yeah, their interaction in the show aren’t as obvious nor focused on as other, but it is there.

It is very uncommon but ApplePie is rarer (I almost never see that one) and Raripie and Rarilight (that one surprises me for some reason)

Well, unpopular ships are usually unpopular for a reason. No offense to people who ship them though.

Puns aside, this literally is the most uncommon Mane6 ship, second maybe only to AppleShy.
