I actually have some nostalgia for the classic Sonic Advance trilogy sprites. I remember back when almost every old Sonic fanimation, or sprite comic parody featured them.

We know from the season 3 finale (That was Sombra right?) that Twilight is very good at teleportation. Even when she’s weak for no reason, he strategy of running away has paid off a few times now. Like in the movie where she only ran away, despite having easily enough power to win.

Curious if it’ll be in the new IDW canon. I honestly still haven’t read that series yet. (Guess I’m still a li’l bumned the 2-decade spanning Archie series died.)

I meant post reboot archie, that’s why I added “we probably never know” since it was cancelled we don’t know if super tails and knux existed there

I’ve seen better sprite animations, so they aren’t all bad. I do wonder if this would be less hated if Twi’ won.
 
Also, I don’t think Tails’ “super form” is canon anymore. (Unless “Mania” brought it back, did it?) “Sonic Heroes” had the perfect opportunity to bring back Super Tails, and Hyper Knuckles, but completely pretended like they never existed. Only the Archie Comics Sonic series regarded their (and other old forgotten Sonic characters) existence, and with it dead, apparently those are too.

I was wondering why this was downvoted, then I saw it was a sprite fight of tails vs twilight and then understood.
 
About who I think wins this fight, well I was gonna go with twi but then saw that tails had all seven emeralds, so i’m okay with him winning this one (that and twi isn’t an alicorn in that one, that helped my decision).
 
Haven’t seen sprite fights in a long time as well.

If you’ve played Metal Gear Rising, you’ll know that yellow attacks can’t be parried.

Why not use desktop-pony Twilight? Those sprites are far nicer and would match more with everything else.
 
Also obviously Twilight would win this fight. Twilight has fought tougher enemies. As for his super form, I’d place him on Tirek’s level. Like Twi did with Tirek, she could just dodge and hide from him until she had a plan or the form wore off.
