Twilight Sparkle as Belle. They are both bookworms, and very smart.
Rainbow Dash as Wendy Darling: I don’t see Rainbow Dash becoming a Princess of a sort. While Wendy isn’t a tomboy, she matches well with her as they have book idols, loyalty, they love going on adventures, and their both nearly blue.
Pinkie Pie as Alice: Like Rainbow Dash, I don’t see Pinkie Pie as a Princess at all. They are both curious, love to have fun, and think random stuff.
Fluttershy as Aurora: While Snow White isn’t a bad match for her, Aurora fills in the bill as she can talk to animals, and get shy easily.
Applejack as Tiana: Cinderella is also a good choice but, she was forced to work while Tiana loves being a hard worker like AJ.
Rarity as Anastasia: I’m aware that Anastasia is a 20th Century Fox Princess but, Rarity matches up with her more then any Disney Princess as they have a beauty personality, and can get aggressive easily.
That’s what I mean, the Disney Princess brand only consists of specific characters.
It’s a mixed bag all around. There are several actual Disney movie princess that aren’t part of the brand, despite being a princess and you know, owned by Disney.
Princess ‘Kida’ Kidagakash From Atlantis The Lost Empire
Princess Eilonwy from Black Cauldrin
Hell I’m pretty sure Merida from Brave isn’t counted.
I don’t think that’s how it works. A “Disney Princess” is a brand consisting of a specific set of characters. – Leia is now owned by Disney, and is a princess, and is still not a Disney Princess.
