I understand and respect your opinion, but that’s just the way I prefer it. The way I see it, the story’s different, but couples, family, and personalities are the same. But, y’know, that’s just me.

Yeah, I don’t think it’s really fair to Sci-Twi to just stick her with her other self’s hand-me-down boyfriend. It diminishes her individuality.

Sunset isn’t stuck in the human world, she chooses to stay there. And until I see signs of Equestrian counterparts to characters like Sugarcoat or Juniper Montage or Sandalwood, etc., I’m not convinced it’s perfectly symmetrical.
 
Besides, where’s the fun in an alternate universe if things aren’t different there?

Truth. But Flash is better than Timber Spruce so I think if Sci Twi did date Flash, it would be a major step up.

I honestly don’t like it when the universes don’t match. I really want Sunset (and all the Equestrians stuck in the human world) to return to Equestria for good so that the universes balance again. And I’m the type of person to ship pony Pinkie with pony Cheese and human Pinkie with human Cheese (for example) to create balance. I guess it’s just a bit of OCD for me, but I really can’t stand alternate love interests in alternate universes.
