@HDPlayer
The 12-hour system is more messed up than just not being able to count past 12, the switch between forenoon and afternoon, as well as the next day happens at 11:59~~12:00-12:01, but the numbers starts over an hour later at 12:59~~1:00-1:01.
So you have: 10am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm
24-hour system starts at 0 and counts up towards 24.
00:00 and 24:00 is the same time so it doesn’t matter which you choose, but you can’t use 24:01 in most cases.

A 24-hour clock, often just digital, still only have 24 hours. 0 thought 23 (sometimes 24 but only for 24:00). This military time “1600” isn’t used by regular people, and they instead say “16” or “4”.
I’ve too many times heard this misconception. Military time uses 24 hours, but 24-hour time isn’t always military time.

why military? i mean regular 24h clocks. for some reason some still use 12h clocks, analog and digital… like can’t they count past 12?
