I like it.
A royal guard who died while protecting the prince from an assassin. Being saved by a simple pony made Blueblood change his attitude toward others, he still consider himself to be better than most ponies but he is now less self centered and consider it’s his duty as someone who’s superior to defend those weaker than him.
