What I’ve done is constantly list up evidence and debated its possible interpretations. I don’t go around doing things like saying “Sunset Shimmer is a lesbian!” despite how much I like to headcanon her as such.

Like I said, though, this doesn’t stem from just this post, but of his comments on other discussions where he not only kept invalidating the possibility of LGBT couples happening in MLP, but also denying the validity of Canon LGBT couples in other shows (specially, Korrasami), so dunno. Take of that what you will, but I’m not going to make it a point to convince you any further.

i was incredibly annoyed when the “transphobia” tag was removed from “ur gender is what ur born as lololol” twilight’s book image because i added it for a reason (so i could filter it. i’m trans and hide that tag)

I figured as much. Not good enough though, you need solid examples. You have to be able to say ‘he posted this, this is what it means to be homophobic, and this example is consistent with the definition of homophobia. Him just saying this isn’t intended to be homophobic isn’t an admission of homophobia, or even evidence that he is homophobic. If that’s all you’ve got, I’m not convinced. Maybe the reason he is doing a preemptive denial is because he wants to make his intentions clear. Yes, I’m a skeptic, also known as a critical thinker, in other words NORMAL. Logic, reason and evidence aren’t just words.
 
Denial or just making your intentions clear isn’t proof of anything, it’s not even evidence. Sounds like a witch hunt to me.
 
What if I, being aware of the touchy subject of transsexuals (or genderqueer or whatever they’re calling themselves these days) posted a meme about how they are only 2 genders, and in the description I make it clear that this is not intended to be transphobic, because I am aware that this is a touchy subject and people tend to overreact, would I by your logic automatically be trans-phobic? No, I’m simply clarifying my intentions.

Are you aware of context here? Because the thing is that the attitude for which I’ve been accussing Ihhh of homophobia stems from comments at other pictures other than this. Then he goes and posts this, which used to have the description “No part of this image is homophobic.” right below it. The situation makes it basically the same as starting a line by saying “I’m not racist, buuuut…” which is self-defeating whatever argument the speaker was about to propose. So basically, it’s not the refusal of the claim itself, but the context in which it was presented that made it evident to me that Ihhh’s attitude is homophobic.

No, that’s retarded. By that logic I could call anybody I want racist and when they deny that they are I could just say well that’s exactly what a racist would say! You wouldn’t have to say you aren’t a racist if you’re not being a racist! No, your accusations are just unfounded. The burden of proof is on you, not me. You have to provide evidence of claims, and the denial of an accusation isn’t evidence.
