I don’t see a single reason as to why they should hate him. Neither Korra nor Asami held any animosity towards Mako even though they both had had poorly ended relationships with him. (And at least one Twi never had feelings for Flash anyway)
Imagine if in a future episode/special they became lesbians and hate Flash Sentry just because they are no longer interested in him (because the fandom said so)
