Shure we can compemse
I seemto recall an excerpt from the book being scanned and posted here which said that they’re rarely around and basically don’t talk to her even when they are. If I am indeed remembering correctly, then that really doesn’t seem like it’d make her feel loved.
Even if I’m wrong, there’s still that one part or “Parental Glideance” where Scoots talks about how nopony ever gave her any encouragement when she was younger, which suggests her relationship with her parents is, at the very least, a bit strained. Can we compromise and say that if they do care, they might not be so great at making sure their daughter knows they care?
Even so, the lines that maybe she has parents who don’t care for her are… blurry.
Point taken, but I’d imagine the issues with her mom and dad still sting quite a bit, especially for a filly so young.
…If it weren’t for her aunts. Who are her family.
and her big sister
and her other family.
I think “she has parents, they just don’t give a shit about her” may be worse than being an orphan…
Also a daily reminder that she isn’t an orphan.
”Speak up, I can’t hear you over the subtitles!“
