Yes, but when the concept was rejected i supose that the Dance Magic script (That was originally writen time before Friendship Games to be produced as a EQG 4 short) was also unused until 2017

I personally love the idea, maybe we could explored more of the Shadow Five personalities since all the Friendship Games publicity promoted them as relevant characters but the movie was more about Sci-Twi and Sunset
