An interesting idea, but it has its flaws. Whatever it transforms won’t be able to attack that turn (slowing Token Druid down), it can transform itself (which I guess heals any damage it’s taken), the copies it create will only be 4/5 as any buffs won’t copy over (as it’s not an “exact copy”). In the end, it’s a big risk, and that severely hinders it with the amount of Aggro and Tempo decks out there combined with the slow speed of the effect.

That’s the point, giving token druid a wide board of decent sized minions,at the cost of actually pulling it off. Druid doesn’t run anything but token that would support this. So with it in druid, no shenanigans.
@pinkamenaislove
this card gives a new definition of zombie apocalypse, it only starts with one tree, then the next turn will be 2, then 4, then 8 and so on… at this point, aggressive decks with lots of 1-2 drops will get an advantage
@Bonberjean
It’s meant to work as a way to get a big board in token Druid, with the possible downside of giving your opponent whatever stats this minion has when they play, or if they have a board. Since it summons a copy, it’ll keep buffs. Since druid can buff a wide board, it’s a way to get token druid a solid board later on without too much effort. It can also bypass even minions deathrattle. You’re not supposed to, however, want to give it to your opponent. And if it grade can’t attack that would be it’s only use. Giving this minion can’t attack would make it all around terrible.
