Try adjusting the “Clamp Direct” and “Clamp Indirect” settings under Render->Sampling to reduce the fireflies (bright dots). If you clamp direct to about 10 and indirect to about 6, it should be decent. Also make sure to use Filmic tonemapping under Scene->Color Management->View (and set Look to some contrast value) if you aren’t already to level out the lighting more realistically.

Furthermore, if you’re using Blender 2.78 or higher, you should enable adaptive denoising under Render Layers->Denoising.
