The other day, two of my mates were arguin’ over some sort of petty shit (I can’t remember what,) in one of the Discord servers I’m in. So I threatened to ship their waifus.

Aurally, it sounds similar. Rainbow makin’ the corellation between the two was a tongue in cheek dig at my mate. I have nothin’ but love for the guy but he’s just too fun not to fuck with.
As an Australian, I can confirm that she’d fit right in just fine.
You can technically say that her mind control spell is some sort of a psy-drug. And since drugs and poisons are essentially one in the same thing, just distributed at the different dosages, one can conclude that she is in fact poisonous.
