First time drawing the original Luna
Backstory:
After Twilight Sparkle and her friends defeated Nightmare Moon and transformed her back to Princess Luna, Princess Celestia and her sister went back to their castle together for the first time in a thousand years. They held a feast, told stories and had a wonderful time of sisterly bonding. Later, when it was time to go to bed, Celestia insisted that Luna sleep with her for the night. Luna greatly accepted the offer, for she had not teen her sister for so long. Luna later fell asleep, but Celestia was still awake, beside her sister. She kissed Luna on the head and softly whispered to her ear, “Luna, I know you can’t hear me right now, but I just want to let you know, I want this moment to last forever. You were away from me a thousand years, and a thousand years too long, I can’t stand to be away from you any longer.” Tears fell from her eyes as she whispered to Luna before going to sleep “Please, please…. never leave me again.”

Why not stretch Tia’s mouth into a smile too?
Removing the tears would ruin the pic, which is about Celestia reflecting on her mistakes after getting back what said mistakes had cost her.

She got her sister back. I think those are tears of joy.
