Actually, @HumanGhosts was the one saying that Starlight Glimmer was created because the writers are lazy; @patec was offering a different perspective that just continuing doing the same thing the show had been doing for five seasons would be lazier than introducing another main character. And as much as I’d like to continue that discussion, I agree with patec that it wouldn’t really be appropriate here, since it’s not really related to your drawing.
 
At any rate, feel free to continue drawing (and posting) Glimmer when you get bored. And if you get bored drawing her, you can always try drawing Applejack or Sassy Saddles or Hayseed Turnip Truck or… ;)

I kinda don’t understand what you’re saying except the separate comment thingy.. What I get from you is that Starlight Glimmer has lots of her episodes because the producer is lazy to continue the mane six’s story.. Well, what I meant in my drawing was I was bored and I got nothing else to draw so I drew Starlight.. :P just in case maybe that’s what you meant.. And I’m new here so I didn’t know about that but I’ll try to comment better next time.. :) Thank you for your info..

I’d say it would be way more lazy to keep walking in the same old tracks and just warming up ideas and “lessons” that were already done before.  
In my opinion trying to bring some fresh elements into the story in the form of a new main character is anything but lazy. It’s quite challenging.  
And no, I’m not saying everything is perfect and I love Glimmer. But I respect the writers and the show and I accept that not everything will always go the way I want it to go.  
A LOT of people would do well to adopt that point of view…
 
HOWEVER.  
I don’t want this to lead to a long discussion (again). That’s what we have forums for.
