Urgh. Two years on and seeing this still makes me incredibly uncomfortable. I REALLY wish this hadn’t been uploaded since it’s a horrible representation of Gizmo.
 
I don’t care if someone else finds it attractive, their opinion is wrong and invalid in this instance. It personally turns my stomach every time I see it in the list of Gizmo’s pictures on here. I’m sorry, but I really want this gone. I can’t get it taken down myself because I’m not the artist.
 
I would have gotten it fixed, but Bender wanted me to pay him more after butchering my character to fix it after someone else already paid him for the commission. At the time it sort of felt like extortion. “Pay me more, or I post this.”
 
I don’t care if it looks like I’m throwing an ungrateful fit at this point. My friend who commissioned this is one of the most wonderful people ever, and I don’t blame her in the slightest for this disaster, since all she did was try to get me a surprise gift. It was extremely nice of her. It’s just an incredible shame that this was the end result.
 
I’m sorry if I sound like an asshole at this point, but at the same time I’m not sorry. Seeing my character (literally) defaced like this still really angers me.

Aww, sorry to hear that it turned out in a manner that didnt quite hit the spot! I have to say though, that this is some artstuffs from relatively ancient times at this point, and you can count on much better stuff nowadays~ both in style and quality!

I’ve had to do the same for someone who made me surprise art, and it was a really good artist too. However, they included my OC in a very uncomfortable kink, and I had to say “no” to them. It took me some time to write up a huge note saying that I loved his art, but I wasn’t OK with my OC in that particular situation.

Yeah, unfortunately I do. And I feel bad about saying it. I just don’t really see much of Gizmo when I look at this picture. I see little bits of him here and there, but overall it’s not him to me. He doesn’t even have his signature metal arms. If I put my thumb over his face, I can sorta pretend it’s him, but it’s just not the same.
 
Unfortunately by pointing all this out, I feel like I’m not just looking a gift horse in the mouth _{(hurr hurr)}, I’m sticking my entire head in and looking about with a scanning electron microscope. I feel ungrateful, since this cost both time and money, and was supposed to be a nice surprise gift for me.

To be constructive here, I can agree with the head being too horse-like, but I don’t find it repulsive enough to be a problem. I still think he’s a gorgeous femboy looking like this.

Corrected the tags because it’s actually MY character that Spinner commissioned. She just didn’t tell me until it was done, so unfortunately I had no input on his appearance.
 
While I hate to sound ungrateful for the gift, I’m really not happy with how Bender made him look…. Not that I can really do anything about it, save for re-commissioning him.
 
This is the reason I almost never give picture commissions as surprise gifts. I always feel like I’m going to mess up something about the other person’s character.
 
Anyways, enough of my ungrateful complaining. The thought behind it was nice. I’m just too picky about my OC’s appearance.
