Honestly, if they live anywhere, it’s there. Just look at the place.
I always headcanoned that Hollow Shades was a Bat Pony town, looks more like nothing.
From the map, it does look like the place surrounding Hollow Shades did have a forest of trees.
Yeah, you’d think a place that has “shades” in their name would contain at least some trees.
You know it would be even more better had they encountered them and got into skirmishes before going up against the PoS himself.
Pretty much what it is.
