This is going to send some seriously mixed signals to Flurry Heart as she grows up. On the one hoof, her mother will be teaching her not to treat her playmates as toys. At the same time, any foal she befriends is going to have parents who think it’s an honor she’s treating their kid as a plaything.
I foresee a lot of therapy in Flurry Heart’s future.
Yep. This. If this was any other pony’s kid, those parents would be upset. However, since it is Flurry, they are a-okay with their babies being used like building blocks. Even worse when they forced their babies to be right up in baby Flurry’s personal space so that they can be “friends”.
Actually, the disturbing thing wasn’t that Flurry Heart was using the other baby ponies as toys, it’s that the other babies’ parents were encouraging her. This is a whole new and creepy level of princess-worship we’ve seen in the show.
