And what kind of identification does she have to be one of those (outside of the Sharingan)? Basically, until she unlocked her Sharingan, she was dark-haired, dark-eyed girl with glasses. So have her doubt her being the daughter of Sasuke until a big climatic moment where she unlocks her Sharingan to prove that, yes, she is his daughter.

You not wrong, far from it as much as i love naruto i can go on and on about its faults and constant use of Deus Ex Machina to get away with certain things. the madara example you put out for one if it were a normal shadow clone your right it shouldve disappeared after it was knock out and i found it hard to believe no one thought to do an autopsy on the body or at least they couldve said it wasnt a normal shadow clone jutsu but some other more durable variant.
 
I wasn’t saying that stuff about the fillers to completely discredit bleach in anyway i was just saying when we look at the two shows along side there mangas its clear to see how the treatments they gave to there side character effected the overall success in the long run, your right Naruto’s anime is insanely guilty of long drawn out fillers but thats where we got alot of our insight to certain side character such as tenten and ect leave the mange to focus on what it need to.
 
Where as bleachs filler runs were mostly independent arcs with no real baring on the story and really didnt bring us much into knowing about certain characters. because of that any info like that was forced into the main and obstructed from the story’s main focus so instead of long drawn out fillers we get long drawn out uneeded exposition mid story causing more important parts to be cut short or just not explained properly not to mention the long winded unimportant fights who’s length could give dragonball a run for its money

I’m not sure how the criticisms of the Bleach’s treatment of side characters and dragged out plots doesn’t apply to Naruto 10 fold. The whole shonobi 12 are supposed to be showing off their bonds when defeating obito, yet shino and tenten and many others are barely in the manga’s main plot at all. Most of Naruto knowing them all is done in filler; Naruto practically invented the term ‘filler hell’ or quite often “infinite filleryomi”.
 
The greatest crux behind everything was the most dangerous shinobi, Madara, being alive, yet his explanation is done as a side comment that he rewrote reality that the 1st and 2nd hokage buried a shadow clone, an easily destroyed construct…and that this ability would activate only after all chakra left his body making performing said jutsu impossible i.e. death.
 
Bloody brilliant.
 
Both Bleach and Naruto have faults, and I’m not going to convert a long time Naruto fan, but you gotta admit…the biggest mystery in Naruto being discovered that the villain simply rewrote reality to make his schemes possible is simply desperate.
 
And the final payoff? Black zetsu, a character we know nothing about besides being a blob created by Kaguya, was manipulating Madara, Obito, Pain and the Akatsuki in a ridiculously drawn out “who manipulated who” scheme that lasted more then a DECADE.
 
Oh, and let’s not forget about kinkaku and ginkaku and one tentacle being used to revive the 10 tails. Oh god…

lol well i cant really argue any of that, not to sure about the eye being the answer for everything i personally like naruto more then bleach story wise simply because it wasn’t rushed , anime wise bleach definitely has the win in regards to its fillers and fun side characters, the bount arc was great, but canonically it suffers from its vast cast and wanting the develop them all this is what caused Kubo to drag out parts the he didnt need to forcing him to rush the parts he should’ve put more effort into, at least kishimoto was straight forward about his intention to keep the story focused with only needed BGC interaction and back story, he let the the anime filler fill in the rest for 2nd tier characters

Bleach may not have ended well, but it’s anime days were a beauty to behold. Not the best anime, but still really good and it didn’t have massive flaws until the editors stepped in.
 
With Naruto, the writer made it clear he was going to toss most of the side characters off into the garbage heap right after the first time skip, and eye powers became the answer for everything, even rewriting reality. How conveniant.

Less of a prick, but a horrible, horrible father and husband. Hell, the Sarada plot in the “Naruto Gaiden” manga would’ve been a lot more believable if Sarada was questioning the identity of her father and not her mother.
