If you haven’t been reading any spoilers, don’t read the rest of this comment:

Spike has been jealous of Capper and the way Rarity fawns over him, and I suspect that by the end they are doing the teamup stuff that looks like here. So hopefully this is Spike and him becoming friends, after Spike being angry at him… but it could be not as good, instead.
