My favorite is how he claims “they are not animals. They’re eck-id-nyas, a new alien species.” Riiiiiiight…  
He also has a rather blatant expy of Knuckles. Even still uses the hat from the Sonic OVA.
 
He still hasn’t even gotten his “Lost Ones” comic, and movie going. (And yet, over a decade ago said he’d be a “better” choice to head a Sonic movie over fan-favorite SatA.M. Sonic writer/editor Ben Hurst.)

I know. That’s why posting Pender’s own art for a crappy comics discussion is cheating.
 
I remember some of his previews and pitches for a Lara-Su comic, which included concept art for all characters and ideas from his run on Sonic, even the ones that were directly linked to Sega’s own concepts and the amazing mental gym antics he was pretending to use to avoid legal issues.
 
The guy still hasn’t published anything because nobody wants to publish his crap for a list of reasons that’s longer than a day without bread.
