Of all the times I wish I could like a comment.
It’s been made clear: Some people choose to headcanon a relationship. Some people don’t think it really works. And some people just dislike such headcanon ships in general.
So let’s leave the discussion about the previous discussion closed now. And let those who do enjoy this new ship to enjoy it.

Then if you are going to complain about people who say it’s becoming canon, then reply to those people and not to those who say “head”canon.

People are claiming that Hasbro and DHX themselves are hinting at these ships, and are using circumstantial evidence to “prove” it. That is different from simply shipping them. I have no problem with shipping as long as people know that it’s only a ship. Please read what I actually say and understand the context of what i’;m saying, ad don’t put words in my mouth.
by this logic, you seem to only approve of the ships demonstrated by the three marriages plus one confession in the show. well, i’ve got news for you: all of this show’s other ships are based on circumstantial evidence, so quit being a party pooper and let us have our fun.

I mentioned in my comment I don’t think it’s “canon”. Simultaneosly I was also pointing out a detail about the scene that is important if we’re talking about a location. So at what point are you going to let people have their headcanons without *****ing about it?

They arent using those examples as evidence, they are just giving their reasons for forming their headcannons.

All of that is circumstantial evidence.
And they were just looking into each other’s eyes when Spike came in not talking to one another. If their mouths were moving to make it look like they were chatting I might just think it was a conversation between two ponies but like I said they are looking into one another’s eyes and Star Bright seems to have a rather “in love” expression on his face.
Doesn’t help there’s a flower vase in the middle of the table and several hearts in the scene.
…I don’t think it’s “canon” ship, per se, but that is a sink and countertop in the background, which makes me think it’s not a restaurant but one of their homes, which is a bit more of an intimate setting.

What you said is an exaggerated elaboration of my feelings on the matter. They’re just sitting at the same table, one need not look into it or make a big deal about it. Would one say the same thing if I was sitting at a table in a restaurant with a friend of mine, and he and I just happened to meet up there?
