Why does that matter? If Fluttershy is to be taken as a realistic personality, this still applies.

Someone who’s defining quality is literally what they’re known for/in their name and the events are simply a problem that requires them to overcome said quality to solve said problem.
 
I’m with Flutters on this one. I never got why so many people hated how she sort of reverted back to her shy tendencies when that’s what she was doing her whole life. Granted, they did it several times and they sort of Flanderized her shyness in later seasons so I can see where they’re coming from.

No in real life, but you are not real.

This pretty much sums up my feelings towards everyone who complains that the characters haven’t learned their lesson.

Really depends on the person and the gravity of the event.
