You can boil drain cleaner until it’s nothing but sulfuric acid and carbon junk, and you can separate ethyl ether from engine starting fluid.

You just basically implied that tags have to be litteral, and can no way corrilate to ideals.
 
Then you choose an arbitrary tag based on your ideals. You measured an amount of moral ambiguity that you consider ‘horrifying’ despite the tag almost never being used this way, unless the character intends to hurt themselves or others. Most meth users and not even all of them, are just idiots, they take about the same amount of risk as any other adrenaline junky.

Morally ambiguous isn’t even semi grimdark, unless she’s like flopping around on the floor breaking her teeth because she injected half a gram. Molestation and theft would have to be semi grimdark too, same for working in dangerous conditions, or taking any other risk that could involve flash burns, or fume inhalation.

Don’t try to make meth at home kids, you’ll blow up your house. The fumes are toxic, and also its illegal.
