movie don’t give the big name to the everyday actors. they don’t hire celebrities and don’t give them top Billing especially when they cost more

They should’ve had Tara Strong, Andrea Libman, Ashleigh Ball, Tabitha St. Germai and Cathy Weselyck’s name there too, I mean they voiced the main Heroes of the movie for crying out loud!

going off the trailer, she will probably have the big ending concert performance like Shakira in Zootopia, but I’d bet a shorter cut of the song will be heard earlier in the film being listened to by the ponies as they go about their every day business

Taye Diggs was in Rent both the movie and stage version. Along with How Stella Got Her Groove Back, Equilibrium, The Best Man Holiday, and Chicago for movies. Ally McBeal, Day Break, Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice, and Empire for non-one-off TV appearances among other stuff.
 
Edit: In fact, the only people I didn’t know immediately from this cast were Sia because I don’t listen to her music though I have heard it here and there now that I bothered to look it up and Uzo Aduba because I didn’t realise she was in Steven Universe
