Cute! I say, why not to this pairing!? I imagine pokey as the flirty like type of colt,  
& probably he & pinkie knew each other in high school which is why we see pokey & pinkie with eachother.  
Pokey’s just probably trying to win somepony’s heart, & pinkie seems like the cutest mare for him (which I can’t blame him pinkie pie is a wittle cutie :3) & he was always flirting with her. But of course, since I ship CheesePie, it could be that pokey was heartbroken after pinkie & cheese got together, & maybe maud, being pinkie’s closest sister, could be jealous of how much time pinkie is spending with cheese. These two could probably relate to eachother about pinkie & cheese’s relationship & maybe maud can calm pokey down at times considering how much of an airhead he is, & pokey can possibly teach her somthing about modern civilization & how to come out of her shell at times. That’s why probably why I ship pokeymaud. BOY, Do have the craziest canons & fanfiction ideas XD!
