With an automatic transmission, there’s no clutch, but still, it’s good practice to use the same foot for the accelerator and brake. Stepping on both the accelerator and brake at the same time really isn’t good for the car.
Not to mention how stiff the leg movement is and the jarring resolution differences between each one
I am so confused is this the actual quality of animation? Is it an edit? What’s the purpose of the edit?

That’s debatable. Driver’s ed teachers harp on about it being dangerous and license examiners will probably fail you for using both feet, but if you’re practiced at it, then it’s completely possible to do safely. Not having to transition your foot from one pedal to the other might actually make it safer, by virtue of quicker reaction time.
