This is devastating. The way she’s crying, with the tears slowly coming out, as opposed to full blown sobs, makes it feel worse and lets you feel her heartbreak.

Just looking at this picture gave me so many ideas as to what the context might be. I actually want to write a short story based on this… basically, Rainbow gets stood up, but a stallion at the restaurant notices and invites her to his table. They talk, and it eases some of the pain, but not all of it. They end up going home together, where Rainbow works out some of her issues…

Not sure how far it’ll go.

The one thing that drives the feeling home is the fact she waited even after closing for whoever her date was.

It’s as if Dash really wanted this date to workout. I think I even see some form of lipstick, of which makes this all the more disheartening (it could be just a lower lip highlight or drool, can’t tell).
