Why I call Its Peace treaty?  
Because this is first time I(Sunset Fans and Starlight Haters) don’t hate Starlight much compare to other episodes except The climax (They reuse Season 6 Finale btw)  
It will be GREAT if Starlight herself is the one who got captured in The mirror  
They waste another opportunity to get Starlight learns about Mane 6 Counterpart

What culture do you live in like to think this is a peace treaty between their fans? Fans who liked them both were already at peace, but those that were on each’s side? This special went out of its way to showcase how much cooler and wiser Starlight is above everyone else and how Sunset needed to learn from her, even though the facts actually proved Sunset right. This is basically the show saying “Starlight Glimmer” is cooler but completely failing to properly and decently show it, just using the cheapest way (aka, worfing every other character). This isn’t a peace treaty, this is giving Sunset’s fans the middle fucking finger.

Yeah, this shit was seriously beyond the pale. Like, what the Hell were they thinking?
 
I could have easily tolerated Sci-Twi hijacking the plot again; I like her, even if I do wish she wouldn’t do that. But having PONY STARLIGHT steal Sunset’s spotlight, and Sunset just bending over and taking it? Fuck that shit!
 
I know you don’t agree with me on this, but I thought that Starlight was actually doing consistently well for herself this Season. For me, Starlight hasn’t been this crap since ELTSD.

Wanna know what pissed me off most? It’s none of that. It was that the entire special was just oozing with “look how cool she is” subtext.
 
Sunset is worrying over more magical threats appearing, and lo and behold, she was fucking RIGHT to be worried considering the events of this episode. But the narrative treats her as her doing something wrong for worrying and brings in Starlight to teach her that she should just live in the moment and take things as they happen, which is precisely the exchange they have at the end. They make Starlight out to be Sunset’s new bestie just to highlight how “cool” she is.
 
And don’t even get me started on the whole “Starlight Glimmer is our only hope now”, sweet christ…
 
And what the fuck is she doing acting like the Humane 6 are all her friends when she hasn’t even met them ONCE before???
 
No, but seriously, there was some potential here to showcase Sunset in the role of a nourishing mentor again, maybe finally give Starlight a lesson or two that might help improve her character…
 
But noooooooope, god forbid Starlight “Miss Perfect” Glimmer is shown in any way as inferior to Sunset, the character she was once coded after to try to milk on the later’s success as a character in Rainbow Rocks, right? Nope, it’s gotta be Starlight who’s here to teach the lessons and show Sunset how she should really live as, never mind that the events fucking proved Sunset to be right for worrying!
 
Good fucking lord, the writing around Starlight has always been contrived to make her look good, but this is a fucking new level of awfulness. I just… I can’t even finish processing how awful of a character she is that she’s apparently only gonna get WORSE… God fucking dammit…
