No shit. But compromise isn’t always the best solution.
I think compromise solves a crap ton of real world problems.
A binding contract, is ideally a voluntary compromise between parties.
A piece of Law is ideally a compromise between governor and governed.
You see? Compromise is practical.
Seeing as I highly doubt they’re ever going to do another changeling plot to overthrow a kind ruler, I wouldn’t hold your breath. :P Fanfiction is close as you’d get.

Yeah, which is probably why Twilight isn’t any where near to actual power in Equestria; she’s just too naive and idealistic when it comes to politics. Like Celestia said; there’s no wrong way to fantasize. ;)
